A Team to Care for What Matters to You
One of the unique qualities of East Valley Hospice is its operation by founder, Dr. Kent Allen who believes in the medical and emotional benefits of hospice care for patients and families facing terminal illness.
Your goals, needs and desires guide your hospice care experience. East Valley Hospice is an in-home hospice service that is large enough to provide the thorough service you expect yet small enough to allow a faster response time with more personalized care. We concentrate primarily in the east valley to ensure a rapid response time.
Dr. Allen works with a devoted, compassionate hospice team sharing many years of hospice experience. Their sole purpose is to come alongside families to support them during this time of transition. Your team consists of doctors, nurses, clergy, therapists and trained volunteers to offer support in these areas of expertise. This team offers complete palliative care to relieve symptoms and give support emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Kent Allen, M.D.
Dr. Kent is the founder of East Valley Hospice. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
Dr. Allen has spent years helping those who are not as likely to receive the care they need and deserve. He first decided to become a physician after a mission trip to Mexico where he was able to help people receive medical care that were otherwise too poor to receive such assistance. He returned with a life-changing decision to help those in need through the field of medicine. This experience inspired him to leave a successful real estate career to earn his medical degree.
